Payment Policy Update August 2024

At Fulton Family Psychiatry, our priority is to provide you with the highest quality of care through our telehealth services. To ensure our administrative processes are as efficient and seamless as possible, we are implementing a new payment policy effective August 5, 2024.

New Payment Policy

Starting August 5, 2024, we will require all patients to keep a bank account or credit card on file. This payment method will be used to cover any copayments, deductibles, or other charges not covered by insurance, immediately following your telehealth appointment. Additionally, if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify our office at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $100 no-show fee, which will also be charged to your bank account or credit card on file.

Why This Change?

This new policy is being put in place for several important reasons:

Efficiency: Streamlining the payment process allows us to reduce administrative tasks and focus more on providing excellent patient care.

Convenience: Having your payment method on file means one less thing for you to remember on the day of your appointment.

Timeliness: Immediate payment for services ensures that there are no delays in processing your insurance claims and managing your account.

Fairness: The no-show fee helps us manage our schedule more effectively, allowing us to serve other patients in need of care.

Next Steps

Before your next telehealth appointment, we will send you a secure link to sign an agreement to keep your payment information on file. If you have any questions or concerns about this new policy, our billing department will be happy to assist you!

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement this new policy. Our commitment to your health and well-being remains our top priority, and we believe these changes will help us serve you better.
